"If we gave you one Dijie Shooter and one week, how would you get 50 USC students to download the app without spending a dollar?"
I’d probably start with basketball games since those are big social moments on campus right now. I’d bring the Dijie shooter and take photos of groups in the student section and outside the arena where people are hanging out before and after the game. Then I’d tell them they can get the photos if they download the app. Most people will do it right there if they know their pictures are on it. I’d also tap into my own communities like Delta Sigma Theta events, NSBE meetups, and Black Grad Student Union gatherings during the week. Those are tight friend groups, so if a few people start posting photos from a game night or group hangout, their friends will download it to see the content. Between basketball games, org events, and normal social stuff like birthday dinners or kickbacks, getting 50 students in a week is really just about capturing real moments and giving people a reason to download the app right away to see the photos.

"Name 3 communities you're part of at USC (Greek life, clubs, teams, etc.) and how you'd introduce Dijie to each one differently."
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. – I’d introduce Dijie through our social moments first. Greek life already revolves around documenting events, probates, step shows, birthdays, and sisterhood outings. I’d get a few line sisters and friends to start using it during those moments so the content is real and coming from within the circle. Once people see their friends posting on it, it spreads naturally through the chapter and other NPHC orgs because people are always trying to see what everyone else is doing. Black Graduate Student Union – I’d introduce Dijie more through community events. BGSU hosts mixers, networking events, and social gatherings where people are already taking photos and connecting. I’d show people how it can be used to capture those moments and keep them within our community instead of getting lost on big platforms. It would feel more like a shared space for grad students to document the experience. National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) – With NSBE, I’d focus on group activities like conferences, study sessions, and social events. People in NSBE are always traveling to conventions, attending professional events, or celebrating wins like internships and graduations. I’d encourage people to use Dijie to capture those moments with their engineering community so it becomes a place where our network can see what everyone is doing and stay connected.

What's the last thing that went viral on your campus or in your friend group — and why did it spread?"
Honestly, tailgates are usually what spreads the fastest. The last thing that really went around in my circle was a bunch of videos from a USC game day tailgate where someone started a huge chant and the whole section joined in. People were posting clips of the crowd, the dancing, and everyone in their game day outfits, and it kept getting reposted because people were tagging their friends like “we’re literally right there.” I think it spread because tailgates are such a big social moment. Everyone’s already with their friend groups, the energy is high, and people want to capture it. When you see a clip and recognize people or even just the vibe of the crowd, you want to share it or post your own version from your perspective. It’s one of those moments where everyone’s documenting the same experience but from different angles.
