Interview Questions
Refundly
Social Media Manager

Could you share a few examples of your work as a content creator specifically for TIk TOk? We’d love to see what you’ve done!
I worked on a campaign for the photo clarity app Remini, and my goal was to show how it could restore old, blurry photos. I created a video with a before-and-after transformation of a family photo, but when I posted it, it didn’t perform well. It only got a few views, and people didn’t seem interested. I decided to try again. This time, I made the video more engaging by showing the process of restoring a grainy wedding photo step by step. I added captions to explain what was happening and chose emotional music to connect with viewers. I also included a simple message at the end: “Bring your memories back to life.” When I posted the new video, it took off. Within a week, it had over 3.4 million views, and people were commenting about how much they wanted to restore their own photos. This experience taught me how powerful it is to connect emotionally with your audience and keep things simple and clear.

Social Media Manager

Tell me about a time when a post or campaign didn’t perform as expected. How did you pivot or adjust your approach? –
If I were managing Refundly’s social media, I’d highlight the theme of “Getting Back What’s Yours.” I’d share stories of everyday people—like a busy mom or a student—who used Refundly to easily claim refunds they didn’t know they were owed. This story connects emotionally by showing how Refundly helps people regain control of their finances without hassle. It also demonstrates the value of the service in a relatable, straightforward way.
