Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience
Yes — I’ve sold both products and experiences in person and online, and each taught me something different about connecting with people and closing a sale. One example that stands out is when I was working at Ulta Beauty. A customer came in looking for a new skincare product but wasn’t sure where to start. Instead of just pointing her to the most popular brand, I asked questions about her skin type, concerns, and current routine. From there, I recommended a gentle cleanser and moisturizer combo that worked well for sensitive skin. She ended up purchasing both items, but more importantly, she came back a few weeks later to thank me because her skin had improved. That moment taught me that selling isn’t just about pushing a product — it’s about listening, personalizing, and building trust. What I learned from that experience: Personalization is powerful — People buy more confidently when they feel the product truly fits them. Follow-up builds loyalty — Her coming back proved that good service turns one-time buyers into repeat customers. Confidence in knowledge sells — Being able to explain why something works made her feel secure in her purchase.

What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?
For me, the video creation process is a mix of planning, storytelling, and a little bit of “ooh, that would be cool” spontaneity. Here’s how I’d break it down: Idea Gathering –I pull inspiration from what I’m already passionate about — beauty, fragrance, service work, and lifestyle moments. I pay attention to trends, but I don’t let them overshadow my authentic style. If a trending audio or topic fits my personality and brand, I’ll adapt it. I keep a running “content ideas” list in my Notes app, adding things I think of randomly or see in daily life (yes, even at 2 AM). Concept & Storyboarding –I decide the vibe: Is this informative, entertaining, or personal? For beauty/fragrance content, I think about the sensory experience — how to visually “smell” a perfume or show the texture of skincare. I outline the beginning, middle, and end. Even quick TikToks have a mini storyline. Filming –I film in natural light whenever possible for warmth and clarity. I use angles and close-ups to highlight textures, colors, or mood. If it’s a GRWM, I talk as if I’m on FaceTime with a friend — casual but intentional. Editing –I cut out anything that doesn’t serve the flow. I match transitions and clips to music beats for a polished but dynamic feel. I add captions for accessibility and to keep viewers engaged. Final Touch & Posting –I write captions that either tell a short story, share a tip, or spark conversation.I post during peak engagement hours for my audience. After posting, I reply to comments to keep the conversation going. Inspiration Sources for me are: My personal experiences (especially moments that feel relatable to my audience). Every day, beauty routines and fragrance discoveries. Conversations with friends/followers — they often spark new ideas. Observing what’s missing in my niche and creating content that fills that gap.

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?
I posted a video of a really nice bracelet right before Valentine's Day, which I had bought and knew the girls would love. I think the timing and the product made it successful. Girls love jewelry, and it was the perfect gift to give to your significant other for Valentine's Day!
