Which social media platforms do you use most often, and what do you like about their setup or analytics tools?

I use Instagram the most, it’s definitely my favorite for creativity. I love how visual it is and how easy it is to test what catches people’s attention through Reels, carousels, etc. Tracking reach and saves is also important, which I pay more attention to than likes. I also use LinkedIn quite a bit for more strategy-based content. Facebook I mostly use for connection and community, but it’s nice how everything ties together through Meta for cross-posting and ad management.

What tools or strategies do you recommend for optimizing engagement across platforms?

I like to start by just looking at what’s actually working. Checking insights across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to see which posts people are engaging with and when. From there, I’ll build off those patterns instead of trying to force something new every time. I love using tools to keep everything consistent and see engagement trends across platforms. And, biggest thing is writing captions that sound like a real person, asking questions, and mixing in Reels, carousels, or polls to get people interacting.

If something isn’t working properly (for example, Instagram posts aren’t sharing to Facebook), how would you approach diagnosing the issue?

I’d start by first checking whether the accounts are still properly linked. Updates can break this from linking. I would also check and see if the posts having the issue are scheduled posts, because they can't cross-share if it is a scheduled post.

I’d also check Meta’s status dashboard or creator forums to rule out any temporary outages. Once I identify what’s causing it, I’d document the fix and create a short walkthrough so it’s easy to resolve again in the future.
