If you were the marketing manager for Poparazzi, describe where you would focus the majority of your resources for a fall launch on your campus?

I think I would utilize my connections through my sorority and business organization to get the word out about the app. Making sure that a certain number of people actually download the app would be an important step in encouraging my entire campus to adopt the app. I would probably start with a presentation at one of our meetings, where I can share my screen and show the various features of the app. Another great way to encourage people to download this app is with a pop-up in the quad. People love free stuff; so if there was an incentive for people to download the app, they probably would. That way, we can educate people about what the app is and then encourage usage. The end goal would be to have students using the app frequently, but the primary goal during the launch would be to spread the word and inform people about what it is.

What is one creative concept that you think would resonate and excite students about Poparazzi?

I think this app would encourage more organic content, because the actual user would not have as much control over it. I think on our campus, this could be a great tool for organizations like Greek life. By “popping” their members, they can create large amounts of content. I think I would leverage the usage in large groups, that would then spread to more users.
