What do you look for in a beauty product review?
When I look at a beauty product review, I focus on how honest and detailed it is. I want to know how the product actually performs in real life—things like texture, pigmentation, longevity, and whether it works well for different skin types. I also look for before-and-after visuals or demonstrations, since that helps me see realistic results. I value reviews that mention both pros and cons, rather than overly positive or promotional content, and that explain who the product is best suited for (for example, oily vs. dry skin, beginner vs. experienced users). I also pay attention to whether the reviewer has used the product long enough to give a reliable opinion. Overall, the most helpful reviews feel authentic, informative, and grounded in personal experience rather than just first impressions.

Have you ever written a product review before?
Yes, I’ve written a lot of product reviews on Amazon across a range of categories. Most of my experience is with clothing and accessories (fit, material quality, durability) and beauty products like makeup and skincare, where I focus on things like wear, texture, and overall value. I’ve also reviewed everyday items such as home products and some dental-related products like whitening kits and oral care tools, paying attention to effectiveness and ease of use.
