Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience

Yes — one example was when I helped a customer in person who was unsure about buying a wig for an upcoming event. She was concerned about whether it would look natural on her. I listened to what she wanted, then guided her through different textures and styles, letting her try them on and showing her how to adjust the lace for a seamless look. When she saw herself in the mirror, her whole expression changed, and she decided to purchase on the spot. From that experience, I learned how important it is to listen first, build trust, and focus on the customer’s confidence rather than just the sale. When the product solves their problem and makes them feel good, the sale happens naturally.

What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?

My video creation process starts with researching what’s trending in the beauty and hair niche — I look at platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Pinterest to see which audios, transitions, and formats are performing well. Then, I adapt those trends to fit the wig brand’s personality and audience.Once I have an idea, I plan the key shots — for wigs, that might include unboxing, texture close-ups, a try-on clip, and a styled ‘final look.’ I pay attention to lighting, camera angles, and pacing to keep it visually appealing. For inspiration, I combine trend research with customer feedback. If I notice followers asking questions like ‘How do I blend the lace?’ or ‘Can I curl this hair?’, I’ll turn those into content ideas. I also draw from everyday moments — like seeing a celebrity hairstyle or seasonal fashion trend — and think about how to recreate it with one of our wigs.

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?

One piece of content I made that performed better than usual was a short-form video showcasing a wig transformation — starting with the natural hair, then revealing the styled wig with a smooth transition and upbeat trending audio. I believe it was successful because it tapped into three engagement drivers: visual transformation, relatability, and shareability. The before-and-after contrast caught attention quickly, the use of a trending sound helped with algorithm reach, and the styling tips in the caption encouraged comments and saves. It wasn’t just about selling the wig — it told a mini story that made viewers imagine themselves in the look
