how do you plan to track successful and unsuccessful content strategies?

I’d track performance by looking at both the numbers and the patterns behind them, not just surface-level metrics. I’d focus on engagement rate, watch time, completion rate, saves, and shares, since those say more about how people are actually interacting with the content than views alone. From there, I’d look for trends across what’s performing well versus what isn’t. That means analyzing things like format, hook style, audio, posting time, and tone to see what consistently drives engagement. I’d use that to refine future content, doubling down on what works while adjusting or dropping what doesn’t. It’s less about one viral post and more about building a repeatable strategy based on what the data is telling you.

What do you think makes a viral video?

A viral video usually hits when it feels both specific and relatable at the same time. It captures a moment or feeling people instantly recognize but haven’t seen framed that way before. It also needs a strong hook in the first few seconds and something visually or emotionally distinct enough to stop the scroll.Beyond that, it’s about understanding how people actually consume content right now. You can lean into trends, but you need your own point of view so it doesn’t feel copy paste. The best ones feel effortless and a little unpolished, like you just had to share it, which makes other people want to do the same.
