Creative Website Designer Needed

Can you share an example of a website you designed and explain your design choices?
I recently designed the entire brand identity and website for CoreFlow AI, an AI automation startup. Since they are in the tech space, I chose a high contrast aesthetic that feels techy and used dark mode with vibrant purple accents to keep it looking professional but modern.
My Design Choices:
Performance: I chose to build the site using Astro and VS Code rather than a standard builder. This allowed me to use a component based architecture, keeping the site extremely fast since there were assets that the client wanted to include that would have made the site glitchy.
Intentional Responsiveness: I designed the UI in Figma first to ensure the layout didn't just shrink on mobile, but actually adapted. For example, I refactored the navigation and call-to-action sections specifically for thumb-navigation on phones.
SEO: Beyond visuals, I proactively suggested and in the end implemented custom metadata and sitemaps, which made the site more discoverable and improved the overall user experience.

What tools do you prefer for responsive website design?
I always start my responsive design process in Figma. It’s the only way to properly wireframe and map out the idea translates from a desktop screen to a mobile device before the build even begins. For example, when I designed the website for a local daycare called Kangaroo;s Korner, I used Figma to start.
For the actual build, I’m highly versatile. I’ve built professional, responsive sites using Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow. On the daycare project, I specifically used Wix because the client needed a platform that was easy for them to manage and update themselves after the launch.
While I'm skilled in those builders, I also have the technical background to do custom builds using Astro and VS Code when a client needs maximum performance and SEO.

What design software tools are you most proficient in?
I am most proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, which I have used for the past six years to build brand identities, vector logos, book covers, sticker designs, posters and a lot of digital assets. I also utilize Canva for prototyping and creating templates for brands.
My technical background sets me apart from traditional designers because I also use p5.js to generate interactive, moving visuals that standard software can’t replicate. On the development side, I’m skilled in VS Code and Astro. For video, I balance professional editing in Premiere with the speed of CapCut mainly for social content.
