How do you track social media performance metrics

Tracking social media performance metrics is essential for understanding engagement, reach, and overall effectiveness. Although I haven’t done this myself, I’d approach it by focusing on key indicators like engagement rate, follower growth, reach, impressions, and conversion rates. A great way to track these metrics is by using analytics tools built into platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, or third-party tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social. These tools provide insights into audience behavior, post performance, and trends over time. For example, if I were managing multiple social media accounts, I’d: Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares) to see what resonates with the audience. Track follower growth to measure brand awareness. Analyze reach and impressions to understand content visibility. Measure click-through rates to see how well posts drive traffic. Review conversion rates to assess how social media impacts business goals.
