Can you describe a successful influencer marketing campaign you were involved in?

For SOFTEC, FAST Lahore’s flagship tech event, I compiled a list of relevant influencers who aligned with our target audience. My focus was on finding tech enthusiasts, content creators, and industry professionals with strong engagement and credibility. Some of the influencers from my list were successfully contacted and became part of the campaign, helping to boost event visibility. While I wasn’t directly involved in outreach, my research and selection process played a key role in connecting SOFTEC with the right influencers to maximize reach and engagement.

How do you approach identifying the right influencers for a campaign?

When identifying the right influencers for a campaign, I focus on three key factors: relevance, engagement, and authenticity. First, I ensure the influencer’s content aligns with the brand’s message and target audience. Then, I look at engagement metrics—likes, comments, shares—to see how actively their audience interacts with them. High engagement often matters more than just follower count. Lastly, I consider authenticity; influencers who genuinely connect with their audience tend to drive better results. It’s also important to check past collaborations to see if their partnerships feel natural or overly promotional.

What is an idea for an unexpected way H\FC could show up on your campus this fall?

Through an "Oppurtunity Hub" at the society fair. It would offer students the chance to browse the website. Try out different resumes and explore gigs and oppurtunities based on their interests.
