Campus Brand Ambassador for OUAI

How would you engage your campus community to increase brand excitement and distribute oUAI Products?
To engage my campus community and increase excitement around OUAI products, I would focus on creating experiences that feel authentic, social, and shareable. College students respond best to brands they can interact with, not just see online.First, I would host pop-up events in high-traffic areas like the student union, gym, and residence halls. These activations would include mini styling stations, product sampling, and quick “hair refresh” moments between classes. Giving students a chance to physically try OUAI products makes the brand feel accessible and memorable.Second, I would leverage student influencers and campus organizations. Partnering with athletes, sorority/fraternity members, and popular student creators would help organically introduce OUAI into different social circles. These ambassadors could share real routines, “get ready with me” content, and honest product reviews to build trust.I would also create interactive campaigns, such as a “Good Hair Week” where students can participate in themed days (e.g., slick back day, curls day, gym hair day). This encourages user-generated content and increases visibility across platforms like TikTok and Instagram. For distribution, I would use a mix of event-based giveaways and strategic placement—including welcome kits, finals week care packages, and collaborations with campus gyms or fitness classes where hair care is relevant.Overall, my goal would be to position OUAI as part of students’ everyday routines by combining in-person experiences, social media engagement, and targeted product distribution in places where students already spend their time.
