In a given week, your responsibilities range from updating financial models, to scheduling with external partners, to tracking inventory movement, to prepping decks for a marketing meeting. How do you prioritize and execute when everything is urgent?
I start by quickly assessing the impact and deadlines of each task. I ask: Which affect others down the line? What has a fixed deadline, and what has some flexibility? I’ll often create a prioritized to do list breaking things into manageable steps and estimating how long each will take. If priorities still compete, I’ll communicate with team leads to clarify which are most time sensitive
