Interview Questions
W Labs
Influencer & Community Marketing Intern

What influencers should W Labs work with in 2025?
In 2025, W Labs should focus on influencers who sit at the intersection of athletics, entertainment, and youth culture. Macro creators like IShowSpeed — who has roots in soccer and a massive Gen Z following — can bridge sports and entertainment, driving viral engagement through live challenges, training sessions, or product drops. Pairing that with athletes and creators in boxing, soccer, basketball, and gym culture on TikTok and YouTube would let W Labs tap into multiple sports communities while maintaining authenticity. This blend of high-energy personalities and sport-specific micro-influencers would maximize reach, generate cultural buzz, and position W Labs as a brand that celebrates performance, competition, and lifestyle.

Do you have experience in influencer Marketing or Social Media? If so explain what projects you've worked on?
At Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea, I invited local influencers and content creators to our store for product tastings and seasonal campaign launches. By coordinating in-person experiences and encouraging authentic content creation, I generated a 45% increase in Instagram engagement and contributed to a 20% lift in monthly sales. For an emerging EDM artist, I led influencer outreach to DJs, producers, and music content creators, coordinating collaborations and cross-promotions. This strategy grew the artist’s Instagram following by over 60% in three months and helped secure bookings with HB Entertainment and Peking Duk.

Which brands do you think are doing social media visuals really well right now—and why?
I think Glossier and Rhode are both doing social media visuals exceptionally well right now. Glossier has mastered the art of minimal, airy visuals that feel both elevated and approachable — their use of soft lighting, muted tones, and candid photography creates a lifestyle narrative rather than just a product push. Rhode, on the other hand, leans into a sleek, monochromatic palette and highly curated product shots that are instantly recognizable. Both brands have strong visual systems, but they also know how to adapt to social media trends without losing their identity. That balance between trend participation and brand consistency is what makes their feeds so engaging.
