Tell me about a time you experimented with content creation or marketing—what worked, what didn’t, and what did you learn?
As the Public Relations Director of the Rotaract Club, I was responsible for managing social media promotions for various events. My role involved creating engaging posts, writing captions, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across platforms. One of the biggest challenges was increasing engagement and participation, so I experimented with interactive content like polls, countdowns, and behind-the-scenes clips to build excitement. One of the most successful campaigns I worked on was for a large inter-college event. I focused on highlighting key speakers, teasing event activities, and leveraging Instagram Stories for real-time updates. This strategy led to higher engagement, better event turnout, and stronger audience interaction.
I learned that social media is more than just posting—it’s about storytelling and engagement. I realized that timing, audience interaction, and content variety play a huge role in making a campaign successful. I also gained hands-on experience in event coverage, content planning, and digital marketing strategies, all of which have strengthened my skills in social media management.

What strategies would you use to help grow a podcast’s audience, especially on social media?
Share Short Clips That Hook People In: Post 30–60 second highlights from your podcast on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Pick the most engaging, funny, or thought-provoking moments—something that makes people stop scrolling and want to hear more. • Turn Great Moments Into Shareable Quotes: Create simple but eye-catching quote graphics featuring the best lines from your episodes. Make them relatable or inspiring so people feel like sharing them. • Start Conversations with Your Audience: Use Instagram Stories, LinkedIn polls, or Twitter threads to ask questions related to your latest episode. This gets people engaged and thinking about your content. • Get Your Guests to Spread the Word: Ask your podcast guests to share the episode with their audience. Tag them in your posts so they can easily reshare, helping you reach new listeners. • Make Your Podcast Easy to Find: Use clear, engaging titles and descriptions with relevant keywords. This helps new listeners discover your podcast through search and recommendations.
