Yes, I have worked in event promotion. I was a student ambassador for my previous school. We had a student event targeted specifically to join a new academic program. Alongside the team I was placed in had to set up the event and the tables, make goodie bags for the students, encourage and promote the new academic program, and answer any questions or concerns that they had.
