Can you describe a time when you implemented responsive design principles for a website?

While designing for Grand Canyon Home Supply, I implemented responsive design principles that adapted to different screen sizes while maintaining visual impact. The key challenge was showcasing their project portfolio effectively across devices. I utilized Framer Motion to create perspective transformations for project images that responded dynamically to viewport changes and user interaction. On mobile, images gracefully scaled down while preserving their animated functionality. For tablets, I adjusted the perspective angles to optimize for landscape viewing. On desktops, the full animation capabilities were unleashed with deeper perspective shifts and smoother transitions between project showcase

Through these techniques, I gave this local Home Supply Company a website that upleveled how visitors viewed their company.

How do you ensure a seamless user experience in web design?

I make sure websites feel human by really focusing on who's actually using them. First, I figure out the core users and what they need. Then I create clear navigation and obvious calls-to-action so people don't get lost. I think what's missing in most sites is that human touch - I use conversational copy instead of corporate-speak, add videos of real people when possible, and design interactions that feel natural rather than robotic. Load times matter too, since nobody waits around anymore. Not everything has to be perfect (that can actually feel fake), but the experience should flow naturally from start to finish. Testing with actual users always reveals stuff I missed.
