I have been exclusively using only Penhaligon's fragrances for the past 3 years. Coming from a middle eastern person, fragrance plays a huge role on my day to day life, its rooted in our culture. Being from the UAE, a country that has only started developing for the past three to four decades, my great grandparents used to live a bedouin lifestyle. They used to live in tents in the middle of the desert, their only source of fragrance is Agar wood oil. As a 19 year old living in this modern world, I still carry on this tradition. Agar wood oil is as important to me as brushing my teeth. The smell of the Empressa from Penhaligons has hints of everything I love. However, most of all, it reminds me of the place that i come from and call home.

Ingredients plays a HUGE role on if i consider buying a beauty product or not. Coming from a person with eczema prone skin I think thats very important to me. Also, shade ranges and inclusivity is as important too.
