How would you create content that could go viral among students?

Applying to college is a scary and oftentimes isolating, lonely experience for many people. Something that helped me feel like I wasn't alone was being exposed to other's stories and experiences within the application process. On a whim, I uploaded my own personal statement to share with others. It was a post that ended up amassing over 81,000 views and close to 10,000 likes. I believe there is nothing more powerful and connective to people than being presented a story they can relate to and why my college personal statement ended up garnering massive engagement.

How do you measure the success of the content you produce?

When I see a comment section filled with discussion and interactions with one another I believe this is a good measure of successful content as audiences are engaged enough through the post to engage with others as well using the content to fuel their conversations online.

In presenting myself authentically and humanly, this strategy has allowed me to connect with several thousands of people.
