please share your experience in being an executive assistant or a similar role

I haven’t officially held an executive assistant title long-term. Still, I’ve supported professionals and teams in roles where I had to stay organized, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. I interned briefly at Brooklyn PR, which gave me a solid introduction to supporting busy creatives. I quickly learned how to anticipate needs, handle outreach, and stay detail-oriented.

I’m also highly adaptable and have built a structure for myself in freelance and brand work. I’m confident that with my communication skills, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn, I can quickly grow into this role and support the cofounders with professionalism and care.

How do you prioritize tasks when supporting multiple executives?

I start by clarifying each cofounder’s top priorities and preferred communication style. From there, I use daily check-ins or shared task lists to stay aligned and always flag anything time-sensitive or high-impact first. I’m big on color-coded calendars and structured to-do lists, but I stay flexible to pivot if something urgent arises.

Supporting multiple executives is really about balancing initiative with clear communication. I know when to take charge and when to ask, “What’s the most important thing right now?” so nothing falls through the cracks.
