Ricki Rum
Greek Life Coordinator
Ricki Rum wants to plan a back-to-school event on your campus, how would you make sure the event was well attended?
This past year, I planned an event with VS Pink that had an outcome of 300 students in the sorority community. As Panhellenic President at UCR, I have an extensive network towards greek life on campus. In addition, I have major connections with ASPB which is the student program board that plans huge events, like concerts and meet and greets, with huge celebrities that I can have Ricki Rum have a tent at during these events. Knowing that this is a UCLA/USC based opportunity, I still wanted to showcase my interest in this role as I believe Riverside, an insanely hot city, coupled with my passion for the beach, outdoors, and fashion and my extensive network would be a great asset for Ricki Rum.
Why do you think you'd be an asset to the drew house team?
My past experience as the Administrative Operations Intern for the CEO of Make A Wish have given me great knowledge as to what it takes being an assistant. Managing accounts, seeing the vision and executing it, and being the primary point of contact for key external stakeholders are all experiences I have developed. I believe I can use all of those skills along with my passion and eye for fashion and styling to be a great asset to the drew house team.
