What are 3 unique content ideas your have? Please link your Instagram and tikTok

For each content idea, I'll align it with each event idea.

  1. For the HerCampus event, we can show a before-and-after of everyone's hair, plus some B-roll clips of the movie. Before putting on the JVN product, their hair would be tangled, frizzy, and dry. We'd film a couple of clips of applying the products, showing how easy it is, and then show their hair after the movie, shiny, smooth, and hydrated. This would show a visual of the benefits of using your products on a diverse group of hair types.

  2. Sorority content is popular, not just at IU, but nationwide. Leading up to our event, we can host a campaign partnering with one of the sororities (let's use Sigma Kappa as an example) to promote the use of JVN products. The tagline would be "Sigma Kappa Wears JVN", and show clips of the sorority sisters' hair remaining shiny and detangled even after completing a dance routine/biking. These dance routines are one of the newest trends on TikTok, especially from big sororities, and every sorority at IU has a big bike team that competes at Little 500, our biggest weekend at IU. After doing these strenuous activities, we can show their hair remaining smooth and detangled, visualizing the benefits of JVN, and staying on trend.

  3. For more individual content, I can film day-in-the-life videos showing a hectic day as a Kelley student, moving from class to club meeting to more. I'll show how I use JVN products to maintain the shine and moisture in my hair, even when I have little to no time for a long hair routine. DITL videos are growing in popularity, especially when they're used to promote skincare/beauty products, and this would appeal to the larger Kelley community, who are too busy to spend lots of time on their hair.

What are 3 event ideas you have to incorporate our brand in?

  1. I'm involved with HerCampus at IU, where we frequently partner with skincare/beauty brands to promote products and distribute PR. As for an event, we can have a movie night where our members/general public try out dry JVN products (ex: Air Dry Cream, Leave-In Conditioning Mist, Instant Recovery Serum, etc.) before watching the movie and see the results afterward. This would be engaging and beneficial for our members, as they'd see the benefits of using JVN products and promote them to their peers.

  2. Additionally, I have many connections to the Panhellenic Association at IU, and sororities here host many fundraising events for their philanthropies. For example, Sigma Kappa's philanthropy is Alzheimer's awareness. We could have a sorority (ex: Sigma Kappa) sell JVN products to their members as well as the general public, and part of these funds would go towards their philanthropy. Sororities are one of the biggest communities at IU, and they raise upward of $10,000 at these events. Not only would JVN be supporting a good cause, but you would get exposure to a large community excited about haircare.

  3. Other than sororities, IU's biggest community is Kelley, which is our business school. Kelley students typically participate in case competitions, especially those that partner with big brands like JVN. We could host a case competition for IU students where they would solve a business problem that you have, and the winner receives cash and JVN PR. I hold leadership positions in multiple consulting clubs and am connected to many others, with whom we could partner and use as advertising. You would be receiving almost free consulting from the next generation of leaders and promoting your products at the same time.

Why are you interested in being a Brand Ambassador for JVN Hair?

After receiving a JVN product through an ambassador program, I instantly fell in love. As someone who's had frizzy hair my whole life, JVN's Hydrating Conditioner drastically reduced frizz and left my hair smooth and moisturized. Even my mom, who refused to use anything but Indian Ayurvedic products, now uses JVN's shampoo and conditioner. Being a college ambassador for JVN would allow me to spread the love for your products and show how life-changing they can be to their hair care, no matter the type.
