Have you created content optimized for retention and watch time before?
I’ve worked with smaller YouTube creators where I handled editing, scripting, ideas, and overall structure of videos. My focus was improving retention through better hooks, pacing, and storytelling so viewers stay engaged longer.

Are you okay with fast feedback cycles and testing multiple content angles weekly?
Yes. Fast testing is necessary to find what works. I’m fine with posting multiple angles weekly, learning from results, and adjusting quickly instead of overthinking each video.

What do you think makes a short-form video perform well? (Apart from hook)
A short-form video performs well when it wins attention fast and keeps it. First is the hook in the first 1–2 seconds. If nothing interesting happens immediately, people swipe. That hook can be a question, a surprising visual, or starting in the middle of action. Second is clarity. The viewer should instantly understand what’s happening without thinking too much. Confusing edits or slow setup kill retention. Third is pacing. Short-form content needs constant movement or information — even small changes like cuts, zooms, captions, or scene shifts to stop boredom. Fourth is payoff. There should be a reason to stay until the end — a result, reveal, or conclusion that feels satisfying. Finally, relatability or emotion. People share what feels like “this is me” or something they care about, even if it’s simple.
