How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?
I stay updated by actively using both Instagram and TikTok every day and paying attention to what’s consistently showing up on my For You page. I follow creators, brands, and trend-focused accounts, and I save sounds, formats, and posts that I think could work for different brands. I also notice what’s performing well on campus and among my friends, since trends usually show up there before they feel “official.” If something keeps popping up across accounts, I know it’s worth paying attention to.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?
I’m attracted to influencer and social media marketing because it feels real and creative. I love how brands can tell stories, spark emotion, and build community through content people actually want to watch and share. I’m especially interested in how creators help bring a brand’s personality to life on TikTok and Instagram, and how campaigns can turn into moments people remember. I enjoy staying on top of trends, brainstorming fun concepts, and seeing how creative ideas can directly drive engagement and brand awareness.
