Tested a product before? Tell us about your experience! what worked and what didn’t?
Yes—I’ve tested products in both academic and app-based contexts. What worked best was having clear goals for the test and specific criteria for feedback (usability, clarity, efficiency, and accessibility). I found that structured feedback channels and quick iteration cycles made it easy to report issues and see improvements reflected in updates, which was motivating. What didn’t work as well was when expectations were vague or feedback felt like it went into a void. In those cases, it was harder to know what kind of input was most useful or whether it made an impact. That experience taught me the value of being precise, user-centered, and solution-oriented when giving feedback, and of engaging actively with the team or community during testing.

How confident are you in jumping into Discord chats and sharing your feedback with the community?
I’m very confident jumping into Discord chats and sharing feedback. I’m comfortable asking questions, offering constructive suggestions, and engaging respectfully with different perspectives. I’m especially confident when the goal is improvement—I know how to be clear, specific, and supportive rather than critical. Overall, I see community spaces like Discord as collaborative environments where thoughtful feedback adds real value.

Why do you want to be a StudyFetch beta tester: to help students, test new tools, or show off your crammer skills?
I want to be a StudyFetch beta tester because I enjoy helping improve tools that genuinely support students’ learning. I like testing new features, giving thoughtful feedback, and seeing how technology can make studying more efficient and less overwhelming. As a student myself, I understand what works (and what doesn’t), and I’m motivated to help shape a platform that actually meets students’ needs.
