How do you ensure your design work aligns with a brand’s tone and audience?
To ensure my design work aligns with the brand’s tone and audience, I research the brand’s identity such as its guidelines, current visuals, target demographic, and the brand’s values. I view brand’s websites, social media, and campaigns to fully understand their style and emotional tone. I create designs based on the brand’s personality by using a variety of colors, layouts, and imagery to help the brand connect with the community.

Can you share examples of custom map or illustrative design work you’ve done?
During COVID-19, I started doing digital art commissions online for video game streamers and players. I grew a strong passion for drawing, and everyday I dedicated at least 5 hours after school to drawing and designing characters or scenery for my community and customers.
In high school, I joined the Japanese Club and became the secretary as a sophomore. I began to create graphic designs for the club such as advertisements, social media posts, and slide shows presentations.
