Campus Brand Ambassador for OUAI

How would you engage your campus community to increase brand excitement and distribute oUAI Products?
As a Yale student, I would engage my campus community by creating both social and identity-based events that feel authentic and inclusive. One approach would be hosting sorority and social club events, such as “get ready with me” (GRWM) nights or self-care pop-ups, where students can try OUAI products in a relaxed, social setting. These types of events naturally generate excitement and word-of-mouth while encouraging students to incorporate the products into their daily routines. In addition, I would collaborate with organizations like the Coily & Curly Hair Club at Yale to create more targeted, community-focused activations. This could include events centered around textured hair care, education, and product sampling, ensuring that OUAI feels relevant and accessible to a diverse range of students. As someone who is mixed with textured, curly/wavy hair, I personally love OUAI products and understand how important it is to find products that actually work across different hair types. That perspective would help me connect authentically with students and build trust within these communities. To extend the impact, I would document these experiences through short-form social content, showcasing real student reactions, routines, and results. This combination of in-person experiences and digital storytelling would help build excitement, encourage trial, and create a strong, authentic presence for OUAI on campus.
