What's your view on the damp drinking trend?
I genuinely believe that damp drinking is the future of drinking. My entire family and I have made damp drinking a part of our ideology. We enjoy Athletic Brewing Co and a variety of non-alcoholic wine options. I have made my own non-alcoholic mocktails at home, but I would love to get more into canned non-alcoholic cocktails. As a college students, I definitely still drink alcohol when I'm out with friends; however, I think damp drinking is the future of drinking because it allows you to achieve a better social and life balance. I think a lot of college students could benefit from this knowledge and lifestyle and I want to help Free AF show them the benefits of this lifestyle shift.
In your mind, which brands are hot on TikTok right now, and why?
One company that is hot on TikTok right now is Poppi soda. Poppi is another beverage brand who has an eye-catching and effective TikTok strategy. Poppi taps into all the current trends on TikTok in their own way. Therefore, they appeal to a younger audience and oftentimes pop up on the For You Page. By using trendy audios and video styles, Poppi stays on the forefront of social media innovation.
Another brand that is hot on TikTok is Chipotle. Chipotle does a lot of "How To" videos that are effectively stimulating conversation around their product. Somewhat unexpectedly, Chipotle does many mocktail recipe how-to videos which is especially relevant to Free AF. I believe this strategy would be effective for your brand and would stimulate excitement around your product.
Lastly, Glossier effectively uses UGC and tutorial-form videos to generate excitement around their skincare. Glossier maintains a strong brand image with consistent material, colors, typefaces, and vibes. I believe it is important for Free AF to maintain a strong brand identity in order to generate a loyal following.
Through watching and learning from these brands, I believe I can help create the best UGC for Free AF that will effectively generate enthusiasm for this non-alcoholic cocktail and result in overall success for this brand.
