One strategy that I would recommend would be to collaborate more with college campus organizations. For example, I am part of Mayfest Productions, the student organization that hosts Northwestern's Dillo Day, the largest student-run music festival in the US. I would love to work with other Mayfest team members to find ways to incorporate Home From College. Home From College could sponsor a pre-festival event or have a booth during our festival. Another idea is a Home From College x Mayfest Productions Instagram takeover where a Mayfest Productions member takes over Home From College's Instagram and discusses what a day in the life looks like and how it could connect to other gigs that are on the Home From College website. I also worked with the Home From College team last year as a Launch Partner, and I would love to join the community again. It was an amazing experience, and I would love to help the company grow and expand even more.

I am an avid TheRealReal shopper (I even received a package from them in the mail today). I enjoy TheRealReal because of the quality of the brands and all of its customizable features. Rather than other thrifting platforms, such as Poshmark, I value that all of the pieces are authenticated and thoughtfully reviewed to determine each item's condition. I also love all of the customizable features on the app. The saved search function is an incredibly valuable feature. The obsession feature is also an incredible way to track favorite products, and I love when I can view similar and recommended items. Additionally, the frequent promotions surrounding additional store credit and deals are very incentivising, and I find myself shopping on TheRealReal more than any other thrifting platform or clothing store.

The most influential piece of advice I have received is, "others' opinions of you are none of your business." This truly changed the way that I viewed relationships. Before receiving and understanding this advice, I was constantly worried about how others perceived me, and I was not living my happiest and most authentic life. After receiving this advice, I have realized that as long as I try my best, do what I honestly love, and treat others with compassion and kindness, I cannot worry about others' opinions. Another piece of advice that has stuck with me is "everything happens for a reason" and "you will not miss out on the things that are meant for you." This advice has allowed me to be more adaptable, and it has change the way I view success.
