How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?

I rely on a combination of digital tools and structured routines to stay organized when things are moving quickly. I typically use Google Calendar for scheduling deadlines and meetings, and Google Tasks or Notion to track action items and priorities. For projects with multiple moving parts, I’ll create a simple workflow with due dates, checklists, and status updates so I can quickly see what’s urgent or blocked.I also set aside time each day to review my task list and adjust priorities based on any new developments. This habit helps me avoid missing follow-ups and ensures I’m proactive, especially when juggling multiple responsibilities. Whether it’s managing outreach communications, supporting account operations, or preparing deliverables, this system keeps me focused and on track.

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.

One example that comes to mind is when I worked with DFW Shredding to redesign their B2B website. The company was struggling with low lead conversion and outdated content that didn’t reflect their services well. Without being asked, I conducted a full audit of their existing site, researched SEO best practices, and proposed a redesign plan to improve discoverability and clarity.I implemented a new layout, optimized metadata and page titles, and rewrote the copy with a focus on the company’s most valuable customer segments. I also set up tracking through Google Analytics to monitor performance. As a result, the site saw a measurable improvement in organic traffic and inquiries. By identifying the issue on my own and executing a solution, I helped the company streamline its digital marketing and create a more effective customer journey, completely independently.

What excites you about this role and working with JOVA?

What excites me most about this role with JOVA is the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced, early-stage brand where I can directly support growth and build efficient systems from the ground up. I thrive in organized, detail-oriented environments and enjoy creating workflows that make processes run smoothly, especially in areas like CRM management, outreach tracking, and retail operations. I'm also excited about the chance to work closely with the founder, which offers a unique learning experience and the ability to see how strategic decisions translate into real-world outcomes. As someone with experience in marketing, entrepreneurship, and UX/UI, I’m drawn to the hands-on nature of the role, from crafting sales tools to analyzing reorder performance.Plus, I'm genuinely curious about the intersection of wellness and retail. Supporting local studios and grocers while helping JOVA grow its presence in these spaces feels both rewarding and aligned with my interests.
