Can you share a successful strategy you implemented to grow a brand's Instagram following?

One strategy I used to grow a brand’s Instagram following was when I helped run a campaign for a community program. I focused on making the content super authentic and relatable. I shared real stories from people involved in the program, like how it had positively impacted their lives. I think that really helped people connect to the cause on a personal level.

I also came up with a simple hashtag to get people involved. I encouraged followers to share their own experiences or thoughts about the program, and honestly, it worked. People loved feeling like they were part of something. I made sure to engage with everyone—replying to comments, chatting in DMs, and just showing people that we really cared about their support.

We kept it fun with Instagram stories—doing polls, quick updates, and just making it feel like a community. Plus, we teamed up with a couple of local influencers who were into the cause, which definitely helped spread the word.

By being genuine, engaging with people, and creating a space for everyone the following grew organically, and it really helped raise awareness for the program.

How would you approach creating engaging Instagram content for a lifestyle accessory brand like Liv Wanderlustly?

For Liv Wanderlustly, I’d keep things pretty realistic , reflecting that mindful, laid-back vibe the brand has. I’d share content that shows the accessories in everyday, relaxed moments—like someone sipping coffee with a cute tote bag or using a notebook in a cozy corner. It’s about making the accessories feel like a part of someone’s peaceful, mindful routine, not just products.

I’d also mix in some lifestyle shots with a touch of wanderlust—think traveling, nature walks, or moments of quiet reflection. And of course, I’d throw in some inspirational quotes or short captions that encourage followers to take a breath, enjoy the moment, and embrace that easy, mindful living.

For engagement, I’d keep it light and interactive—maybe asking followers about their favorite ways to practice mindfulness or how they use the accessories in their day-to-day life. The goal is to make it feel authentic and relatable, like we’re all in this peaceful, mindful journey together.

How do you ensure that your content captures the attention of the target audience?

I try to really get into the mindset of my audience and think about what would actually resonate with them. Like, what are they into right now? What kind of stuff do they engage with the most? Once I know that, I try to make my content super relatable—whether that’s through humor, visuals, or just something that feels real and down-to-earth. I also pay attention to trends and find a way to put my own spin on them, so it feels fresh but still connects with what people are already excited about. And I’m always open to feedback, because it’s important to stay in tune with what’s actually working and what’s not!
