Social Media Intern
What is a wellness or beauty brand that has great social media presence? What sets them apart?
A recent skincare brand that has popped up on various social medias is Curology. This customized skincare company strongly emphasizes it's strongest and most unique factor; the customizability to your skin specifically. They have not only company branded ads, but many viral social media reviews from customers that are amazed with it's customizability, as well as many other strong traits that can appeal to a larger audience. With a clear problem(in this case, acne), this brand finds a way to showcase a solution for each individual, which I believe is crucial in drawing a viewer's attention.

Campus Marketing Lead
Describe a time you took a leadership role in your community.
I am currently a graphic design lead for my school's robotics team, and this means that I teach, mentor, and lead a small group of underclassmen to create all sorts of media for the team, including shirts, posters, social media posts, and any other merchandise on the team. Besides teaching my fellow students, I am also required to reach out to other teams across the world in search of partnership opportunities, talk to businesses willing to work with us, and even help host a website to sell our merchandise, which requires steady back and forth communication.
What's your favorite brand right now & why?
Misfits Market is a brand that I've been thoroughly invested in lately. They sell food that is normally thrown out because of minor inconsistencies. Size, color, or slight imperfections cause tons of food waste to be thrown out every year, and this business fights to prevent that. Their social media posts are not only informative, but extremely eye-catching and down-to-earth from a graphic design standpoint. Branding within these posts holds a stunning color palette, crisp images, and information that is easy to digest and get behind. I love this brand, and their advertising strategies.
