How would you handle a difficult candidate during a hiring call?
I will remain calm and patient, making sure to actively listen and understand the candidate’s perspective. If the discussion becomes unproductive, I will politely redirect the conversation back to the interview’s objectives. My goal is to maintain professionalism while giving the candidate a fair chance to express themselves. If the situation escalates beyond my control, I will then involve HR to ensure the process stays respectful and productive.
