I am the social media manager and co events coordinator for the Italian Culture and Language Organization at my school, University of San Diego. I coordinate events and then promote them on the Instagram page using posts and stories.

What's one snack brand that is killing their social strategy? Why?
One snack brand that I think is doing very well is Oreo. While Oreo is a known and loved brand, they continue to come out with new products. They advertise these new products on popular social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Since they are recognizable, I think that people are drawn to watch these ads because they want to see what new product this well-loved brand is advertising.

What's one content area of opportunity you'd first implement after starting this position?
I would first work on building a strong Instagram presence since Instagram is great for displaying the brands content. Next, I would build a strong TikTok presence since it is an engaging way to reach the target audience and lead them to the Instagram account for more information.
