How would you engage audiences for art?

First off — art already has the magic, my job is just to make sure people see it, feel it, and maybe even double tap it. 😄 I’d mix storytelling with strategy. Like — instead of just posting a painting, I’d share the “why” behind it. Maybe a caption like: “This piece was inspired by a 2 a.m. coffee and a playlist full of heartbreak. Can you feel it?” That kind of emotional connection pulls people in. I’d also use Reels with trending audios, behind-the-scenes time-lapses (people love watching the process), and interactive stories — polls like “Frame it or hang it raw?” or “Which color speaks to your soul today?” It sparks fun and makes people feel part of the vibe. And of course — memes. Tastefully artsy ones. Because let’s be honest, nothing says engagement like laughing at the chaos of creative life. 😅🎨

Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you've managed in the past?

Sure! One of the most successful campaigns I worked on was a "Behind the Art" weekly series for a local creative brand. The idea was to post short-form videos and reels showing the step-by-step process behind each artwork — from sketches to final piece — with trending audio and relatable captions. We created a content calendar, scheduled posts at optimal engagement times (based on insights), and used story polls and Q&As to boost interaction. I also made sure to cross-promote posts in Facebook groups and Instagram stories. In just 4 weeks, engagement went up by 60%, we gained 500+ new followers, and one of the reels even hit 20K+ views organically. More importantly, it led to direct DMs asking about commissions and prints, which helped boost sales. I think what made it work was balancing creativity with consistency, and being intentional about hooks and timing.

I make it a habit to scroll smart — not just for fun, but to see what formats or content types are getting attention. I follow marketing blogs, creators who talk about algorithm shifts, and I check out updates from Meta or TikTok directly. Trends move fast, so I stay plugged in!
