How familiar are you with AI tools or productivity apps?

I’m very familiar with AI tools and productivity apps, both for personal use and content creation. For example, I’ve used ChatGPT to come up with content ideas, draft captions, and refine scripts for short videos. I also use tools like Notion and Trello to organize tasks and track content schedules. This helps me stay consistent with posting.

On the creative side, I’ve tried apps like Canva and CapCut to quickly design visuals and edit videos. I’ve noticed that AI features like auto-captioning and smart editing can save a lot of time.

Overall, I see AI and productivity apps as helpful assistants. They don’t replace creativity, but they make it easier to focus on storytelling and strategy in content creation.

Can you provide an example of a successful content campaign you've worked on?

In my previous role managing a student-led Instagram account, we ran a campaign called Study Struggles vs. Study Wins. The idea was to show quick, funny clips of common student challenges, like pulling an all-nighter or forgetting deadlines, and then contrast them with how certain tools made studying easier.

We created short Reels using trending audio and simple text overlays. One of the videos, 'POV: when you finally organize your notes before the exam,' picked up over 15,000 views in the first week and was shared by many student groups. Over the month, the campaign gained about 1,200 new followers and increased engagement by nearly 40%.

It was successful because it didn’t try to advertise directly. It leaned into humor and relatability, which encouraged students to share it. That experience taught me the power of combining authentic storytelling with platform trends.

How do you approach creating content that resonates with a target audience?

For me, the key to creating content that resonates is understanding the audience first. I like to put myself in their shoes. What are their daily challenges? What makes them laugh? What feels relatable to them? Once I know that, I focus on keeping the content real and simple, often linking it to situations they actually face.

I also pay attention to the platform itself. What works on TikTok might not work the same way on Instagram, so I change the format while keeping the message consistent. I usually start with a strong hook, use relatable scenarios, and then provide either value or entertainment.

Finally, I measure engagement. Comments, shares, and saves show me if it really connected. If something performs well, I build on it. If it doesn’t, I change my approach. It’s a mix of listening, experimenting, and staying true to myself.
