I have had the opportunity to manage the Instagram account for my university's branch of the nationwide organization, "The Women's Network." This organization aims to create a strong, supportive community of women in every college campus. As a member of the marketing committee, I am responsible for creating and curating content, engaging with and attracting more followers and community members, and monitoring the performance of our posts. In order to succeed in my role, I keep track of a content calendar and plan out each Instagram post or story for the week. I also focus on the aesthetic of the account to check that each post or story matches with the colors and themes. Lastly, I individually reach out to students at our university and encourage them to join the organization by DM'ing them through the Instagram account.
