Inner Journey: Mental Clarity Profile Image

What are you involved with on campus that would be relevant to this position?

I’m actively involved in Loyola’s pre-med community and regularly connect with students through study groups, wellness spaces, and campus conversations. I’m also working with friends to start a volunteering organization connected to Lurie Children’s Hospital, which has strengthened my leadership and communication skills. Through content creation and peer engagement, I’m comfortable starting meaningful, one-on-one conversations around wellbeing.

Have you ever struggled to communicate something important to someone close to you?

Yes, there have been times when I struggled to communicate something important because I didn’t want to disappoint or burden someone I cared about. I’ve learned that taking time to understand my own feelings first and approaching the conversation with clarity and empathy makes a big difference. Those experiences have shown me how powerful thoughtful communication can be for strengthening relationships and mental wellbeing.

Why are you interested in working with Inner Journey?

I’m interested in working with Inner Journey because I care deeply about mental fitness and helping students build simple habits that support clarity and balance. As a neuroscience pre-med student, I see how stress and overwhelm affect my peers every day, and I enjoy creating spaces for honest, approachable conversations around mental wellbeing. Inner Journey’s focus on making mental clarity accessible and human really resonates with how I engage with wellness on campus.
