what are two BIG MOMENTS ON CAMPUS THAT BUMBLE BFF SHOULD BE APART OF THIS UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR? (think big games, campus festivals, etc)

1. Homecoming Week (Late October)Homecoming is one of the most spirited and unifying times on campus. The week is packed with events like the Homecoming Parade, pep rallies, football tailgates, and student org showcases. Bumble BFF could host a "Find Your Game Day Crew" social or pre-parade meetup, helping students form new friendships before major events. With high energy and school pride already in the air, it’s a perfect time for Bumble BFF to position itself as the go-to way to meet people and experience the festivities together.2. Wisconsin Welcome (First 2 Weeks of Fall Semester)This is the most critical time for first-years and transfer students who are actively seeking connections. UW–Madison hosts dozens of welcome events, from RecWell socials to org fairs and campus tours. Bumble BFF could stand out by hosting a "Speed Friending Picnic" or "Roommate Roast & Toast" night—fun, casual events that align with students’ natural desire to make friends early on. It’s also a prime time for on-campus tabling, content creation, and partnerships with student orgs.

How would you promote Bumble's values in your community as a Brand Ambassador?

As a Bumble BFF Community Lead, I would promote Bumble’s core values of kindness, connection, and inclusivity by creating intentional, welcoming spaces for students to build genuine friendships on campus. At UW–Madison, I’ve seen how powerful it is when people feel like they truly belong. In my role as Fundraising Director for Women in Business, I’ve planned events and led outreach that prioritize relationship-building over formality. I would bring that same mindset to Bumble BFF by organizing creative and low-pressure events like cozy coffee meetups, walk-and-talks, and themed socials that make it easy for people to connect in real life.My academic background in psychology and economics, especially my work as a research assistant studying decision-making and perception, helps me understand how to create spaces where people feel included and willing to engage. I would apply that to Bumble by planning events that account for different personalities and comfort levels, making sure every student has an opportunity to connect.Outside of events, I would also create social content that feels real and relatable. As an editor for the Daily Cardinal, I have experience shaping stories that reflect diverse experiences and voices. I would use that storytelling skill to showcase the friendships, moments, and community that make Bumble BFF meaningful.Across all my experiences, whether I am collaborating with healthcare professionals, organizing fundraisers, or supporting campus events, I lead by listening and creating space for others. That is exactly what Bumble BFF is about. It is not just about making friends, but about helping people feel seen, supported, and excited to connect. I would be proud to bring that energy to campus as a Community Lead.
