What tools do you use when creating social media? How are your illustration and video creation skills?
I’ve been doing graphic design and video editing for over 6 years, it started as a hobby and just stuck. I use Canva a lot, but I’m also comfortable with CapCut, InShot, and Adobe Express when I want more control.
For illustration, I lean toward clean, aesthetic visuals that work well on feed and story formats, think pastel palettes, playful type, and subtle motion. Video-wise, I’m solid with cutting, syncing to sound, adding subtitles, and keeping things scrollable. Ive managed multiple Instagram accounts for various organizations as well.

Can you walk me through your creative process when developing content ideas?
Honestly, I start by thinking about what would actually stop me mid-scroll. I like to anchor content around a real emotion or experience, something that makes people say “wait, that’s so me” or “I’ve never seen someone talk about it like this.”
Once I know the vibe, I brainstorm a bunch of angles. I usually mix a few formats like text-over-video, aesthetic carousels, or a face-cam with captions, whatever feels the most shareable for that idea. I keep the brand voice in mind but always try to make it feel human, not curated to death. Then I write, tweak, vibe-check, and post.

How do you stay up to date on social media trends?
I stay up to date by actively using the platforms I create for, not just scrolling, but paying attention to what’s working, what’s shifting, and how people are engaging. I track trending sounds, formats, and creators through TikTok’s Creative Center, Instagram Reels tabs, and tools like Later and Trendpop. But I also go beyond trends and look at why certain content resonates. I study comments, timing, tone, hashtags and storytelling patterns to understand what actually builds connection, especially within niche or mission oriented communities like Matka’s.
