Can you share your experience in engaging with consumers in a retail environment?
I have over three years of experience engaging with consumers in a retail environment, primarily working with clothing and branded content for well-known brands. During that time, I developed strong communication skills by interacting directly with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending products that aligned with their personal style and preferences. I also learned how to represent brand values authentically, whether through in-store merchandising, styling advice, or creating engaging branded content that resonated with shoppers. My background taught me how to build genuine connections with consumers, drive sales by focusing on their experience, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the brand’s identity.

How would you approach promoting CoAqua to your friends and community?
As a D1 track athlete at South Carolina State, I would promote CoAqua by showing how it fits naturally into my lifestyle on and off the track. Hydration is everything for me, especially training in the South Carolina heat, so I’d highlight CoAqua as part of my recovery and performance routine. I’d share it in moments my friends and community relate to—whether that’s a tough practice, a study break, or hanging out with teammates—positioning it as a healthier alternative to sugary drinks. Since my brand is also about mental health and wellness in sports, I’d connect CoAqua to focus, energy, and overall balance, showing that hydration goes beyond just physical performance. On social media, I’d create authentic content like “what’s in my track bag” videos, post-practice vlogs, or day-in-the-life reels with CoAqua naturally featured, while also engaging my HBCU community by sharing it with teammates and sparking conversations about better choices for student-athletes.
