What experience do you have representing a brand & hosting events?
I have been working for Kaplan test prep for the past 3 years as an undergraduate student. I host 2 annual events for big tabling and info sessions to promote the brand and their courses. I also go visit multiple clubs on campus at their weekly meetings to bring kaplan merch and information to students in order to create a community. Said initiatives have given me great sales results, on average per event I get at least 2 new students to sign up and at least 7 to attend interest meetings 1-1.

How would you engage your campus community with the Tangle Teezer brand?
I’d engage my campus community with Tangle Teezer by keeping things fun, relatable, and hands-on. College students are always on the go, so I’d show how Tangle Teezer actually fits into real campus life—quick hair fixes before class, post-gym detangling, getting ready in dorm rooms, or GRWM videos before a night out. Sharing this kind of content on TikTok and Instagram makes the brand feel real and useful, not overly promotional. On campus, I’d focus on letting people try it for themselves. I’d love to host casual pop-ups or dorm events where students can test the brushes, get quick touch-ups, and enter giveaways. I’d also work with student orgs, sororities, and sports teams to include Tangle Teezer in self-care nights or prep events—places where hair care already naturally fits in. To keep engagement going, I’d run simple challenges or giveaways and encourage students to post their own GRWMs or hair transformations. Overall, my goal would be to make Tangle Teezer feel like a must-have campus essential, not just another beauty brand, by showing how it genuinely makes students’ routines easier.
