How would you capture excitement authentically on camera when reacting to a post?

When reacting to a post, I focus on keeping my reaction genuine and unscripted so the excitement feels real. I usually start by filming my immediate reaction—smiling, laughing, or verbally responding to what I see—so viewers feel like they’re experiencing that moment with me. I also like to add small personal touches, like explaining why the post excites me or how it relates to me. Keeping the tone conversational, using expressive facial reactions, and engaging directly with the camera helps make the excitement feel authentic and relatable for the audience

What’s your process for creating short-form videos that perform well?

My process for creating high-performing short-form videos starts with researching trends and understanding what type of content is currently resonating with audiences on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. I look at trending hooks, sounds, and formats that align with the brand while still feeling authentic to my style. Next, I focus on creating a strong hook within the first 1–3 seconds to stop the scroll. This could be a relatable problem, a curiosity-driven statement, or visually engaging movement. During filming, I prioritize clear lighting, clean visuals, and multiple angles to keep the video dynamic and visually interesting. I also make sure the product or message is shown naturally in use rather than just talking about it. When editing, I keep the pacing fast, add captions for accessibility, and cut any unnecessary pauses to maintain viewer retention. Finally, I test different styles of hooks or formats and pay attention to analytics like watch time and engagement so I can refine my approach and consistently improve performance.
