Which social media platforms have you found most effective for daily posts?

For this audience, short video wins: YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels drive the biggest daily reach and saves. X (Twitter) is best for real-time dev chatter and link clicks, and LinkedIn builds credibility with instructors and hiring managers. My cadence: 1 short video/day (posted to Shorts, TikTok, Reels), 2–3 quick posts/threads on X, and 3–5 LinkedIn posts/week. That mix reliably grows US impressions, watch time, and click-throughs.

How do you create content that engages a US audience?

I listen first. I scan TikTok/YouTube comments, Reddit subs (r/learnprogramming, r/csMajors), X threads, and GitHub Trending to see what students/devs in the US are actually stuck on this week. From that, I plan 3–4 simple pillars: quick how-tos, side-by-side tool tips, mini code challenges, and short wins/case studies. Each post opens with a strong hook (“Here’s the 30-second fix for…”) → fast demo → one clear CTA (save/share/try link). I keep it 9:16, big captions for sound-off viewers, plain US English, and inclusive tone. I schedule around US peaks (ET lunch and 7–9pm local), post natively, and reply to comments within the first hour to push reach. Links are trackable (Bitly), and I A/B test the first 3 seconds, thumbnail, and caption—then repurpose winners across platforms with small native edits.
