What research methods do you find most effective for manual data collection?

I find surveys and interviews to be the most effective research methods for manual data collection. Surveys are especially useful when there are time constraints and data is needed quickly. Interviews allow you to dig deeper into participants’ experiences and provide the opportunity to ask follow-up questions when deeper insight is needed.

How would you identify and approach tattoo artists and influencers for outreach?

I would use social media, primarily Instagram and TikTok, since they are widely used and make it easy to locate tattoo artists and influencers, as well as view their work through hashtags. I would evaluate the type of content they post and how often they interact with their followers. I would approach them with personalized messages that show appreciation for their work and highlight how their contribution would be beneficial. I would make it clear that they are valued as individuals rather than just another number.
