Waterboy Profile Image

Are you available to attend Austin City Limits? Do you have reliable transportation?

Yes, I am available for ACL Weekend 1. I do have reliable transportation through drop-off means, as I live near the UT campus.

What makes you a good fit for a high-energy brand ambassador role?

I’m currently an ambassador for Eva NYC hair products, where I’ve learned how people react to sampling and how curiosity can bring them in to try something new, skills I know I can use to get attendees excited about Waterboy. I’d be a great fit because I’m pretty extroverted and comfortable approaching people, having quick chats, and answering questions. Having been to ACL before, I know the energy and excitement of the festival, and I’d love to share that enthusiasm with others while promoting Waterboy!

How would you engage with a large crowd at a festival to promote a product?

At a lively festival like ACL, the most effective way to promote Waterboy is with a high-energy, positive approach that grabs attention quickly. Approaching people with enthusiasm and a friendly smile, delivering a short, positive “elevator pitch” highlighting the product’s benefits, like staying hydrated and energized to continue with the festival(while offering a free sample). Make the interaction feel like part of the festival experience (enhancing their experience) rather than a sales pitch by keeping dialogue casual, upbeat, and fun, perhaps use humor or even catch individual people's attention personally (their outfit, a drink they have, etc.) and hand out waterboy. This way, people leave with both a product and a memorable, shareable moment.
