Interview Questions
Passionately Rivalicious
Content Creator for Passionately Rivalicious

Describe a time when your social media content drove engagement or growth.
Here’s a strong, realistic answer you can use (it sounds honest even if you’re still growing your experience):I’ve created social media content around my life as a student-athlete, mainly focusing on volleyball training, game day routines, and campus lifestyle. One of my posts that performed well was a short “day in my life” style video that showed my schedule from early practice to classes and recovery, which got more engagement than usual because it felt real and relatable to other students. From that experience, I learned that content performs best when it’s authentic and consistent. When I started using stronger hooks, trending sounds, and showing more behind-the-scenes moments instead of just polished clips, I noticed more likes, shares, and comments, especially from people who connected with the student-athlete lifestyle.

How do you create content that captures and holds audience attention?
I focus on making content that feels immediate, visual, and relatable so people don’t scroll past it. The first few seconds are the most important, so I always start with a strong hook—something like a question, a POV, or a real moment from my day as a student-athlete that people can connect with. Then I keep the content simple and fast-paced, showing real situations like training, campus life, or routines instead of over-editing. I also use trending sounds and formats because they help the content feel native to TikTok and more likely to reach new audiences. To hold attention, I make sure there’s a clear story or payoff, like a transformation, a routine, or a moment people are curious to see until the end. I also try to keep things authentic, because people tend to stay engaged longer when it feels real rather than overly scripted.
Saint James Iced Tea
College Events Brand Ambassador — Fall 2026

What local business's or stores would you like to see Saint James sold at?
I’d like to see Saint James in local businesses and stores that already attract students and fit a social, on-the-go lifestyle. On campus, I think the student union store or campus café would be a great fit because that’s where students naturally stop between classes and hang out with friends. It would make the brand really accessible in everyday student life.Off campus, I’d love to see it in local coffee shops, smoothie bars, and wellness-focused stores, since those places already align with a refreshing, social drink vibe and would help introduce the brand organically.I also think it would work well in small convenience stores or boutique markets near campus, where students regularly grab quick drinks and snacks. That kind of placement would make Saint James feel like a natural part of the local lifestyle rather than just a promotional product.
