What is the biggest challenge you've faced when learning a new language?
Learning the differences between technical grammar in Spanish was definitely something I struggled with growing up. Soon, I know I will be struggling in Italy with learning my way around a country that I don't currently know the language of.

What's one way that you would create community and excitement around language learning as a Howie Ambassador?
I would share my experiences with Duolingo & the benefits of learning another language (I soon will be going to Italy for a summer study abroad program to learn Italian, so it would be perfect timing for me) with the peers from the clubs( i.e. spanish speakers, Hispanic Society of Lafayette, Association of Black Collegians, pottery club, OUT (LGBTQ+ club), and some more) that I am in. I also will be connecting with those in the foreign language studies department!
