How do you hook viewers in the first 3 seconds of a retail video?

I would hook the viewers in, in the first 3 seconds of the video with the contrast of the dramatic audio to the casual vlog of picking up a snack happening on the screen. With the on-screen text saying "Pov: I forget I have free will and can go to the store for one thing" the video will also hook viewers as they are interested in learning what the "one thing" is I am going to get

How would you create engaging retail content ?

I would create engaging retail content by creating relatable and humorous content. I would use a dramatic/scary Tik Tok audio that increases suspension of what the snack is and if I can find it. I would also add a caption like "Pov: I forget I have free will and can go to the store for one thing" that adds to the relatability and encourages people to go out and try the product immediately. I would also ensure this is a fast-paced 10-15 second video in order to keep people engaged.
