What makes you excited about representing the brand?

I’m genuinely excited about the opportunity to represent Tangle Teezer because this brand has been a foundational part of my natural hair journey. Tangle Teezer completely transformed the way I care for my coily hair, making my routine easier and more enjoyable. I still remember picking up my first brush in high school randomly at Target, and I’ve never looked back since. Now, I’d love to share the same quality products that supported me with my audience and my campus community.

What orgs/sororities/clubs are you a part of on campus that you can tap for the event?

Yes! I am a member of Texas Darlins, a spirit organization at the University of Texas at Austin. While not a Panhellenic sorority, Darlins is often considered sorority-adjacent due to its close-knit community, recruitment process, and strong emphasis on sisterhood, leadership, and service. We host social events, participate in philanthropy, and represent school spirit at UT sporting events, creating a tight-knit network that feels similar to a sorority experience, but with the added focus on university pride and community involvement. I  am also a member of the Texas Black Business Student Association and the Texas Black Health Professionals Organization. I am very involved on campus through these organizations.
