What on campus activities are you currently a part of?
The org I love being part of most on campus is the Natural Sciences Council (NSC), the official student government for the College of Natural Sciences (CNS). We're dedicated to enhancing the student experience through advocacy, resources, and programming. We work directly with CNS administration, faculty, and student organizations to ensure that every student has the support they need to thrive academically, professionally, and personally.š± Academic Advocacy! We represent CNS students in discussions on curriculum, academic policies, and resources, ensuring student voices are heard at every level.š± Professional Development! We host networking events, career panels, and mentorship programs to connect students with industry professionals and alumni.š± Community Building! Through long-term service opportunities, social mixers, and organization collaborations, we help create a supportive and engaged CNS community.š± Student Wellness! Balancing a STEM workload is tough, so we prioritize initiatives like Wellness Day, a dedicated event to help students de-stress and focus on mental and physical well-being. We also oversee the CNS Wellness Center, a space where students can find resources, unwind, and recharge.NSC is constantly working to evolve its support of students. With over 12,000 students in CNS and a campus of 50,000, weāre always looking for new ways to expand our impact!
